The Thiririka FCS has 3 factories: Githembe, Kiganjo and Ndundu. However, at Githembe the coffee is only pulped and washed, before it is brought to Kiganjo for drying. Because of security issues, for the last 3 years the parchment could not be dried at the Githembe factory. The factory was built in 1969. The factory manager has been working at the factory since three years. Before that, he was the manager at the Ndundu factory for 15 years.
