All factories lie very close to Mount Kenya Forest, which you can even see from there. The regional farmers cultivate coffee and tea, because the altitude is predestined for both. Driving up to the farms, sings of “tee growing zone” come across you, which is a good sign, because the altitude for tee cultivation is rather high. The Kavutiri factory owns a new dry mill and all four factories obtained new pena lens eco pipers. Murue Coop lies very close to Kavutiri and hulls their coffee beans at this new dry mill.
