The roots of Fazenda Estrela Carvalho were planted in 1981 in the Pântano terroir, a region at 1130 meters of elevation, located in Coromandel, in the Cerrado Mineiro. The owners of the farm, José Ricardo de Carvalho and family, have great love for the land and are specialized in it. With the perfect combination of soil, elevation, climactic conditions, the legacy of love for the land and respect for the environment, they have managed to overcome challenges and to shape the future of business. Estrela Carvalho believes, above all, in the regeneration of the planet, of people, of relationships and of the land. Therefore, the farm works with the concept of reconnecting with nature, with who they are and with the responsibility of prospering within our immense ecosystem. The owners believe in a future in which sustainability stops being an obligation
and becomes a reality and in preparing themselves for this moment. The farm has a vision for new agriculture, capable of reconciling reason and emotion to generate high value and excellence in its fields. It also believes in the synergy between the experience and tradition of the first generation and the technology and innovation implemented by the second generation, which orient its capacity to produce with excellence.
The coffees from Fazenda Estrela Carvalho have excelled in the past few years by winning competitions held in Brazil, proving to importers that the country is capable of producing beans of extremely high quality and that they owe nothing to their competitors.
