Indonesia – Sumatra Lintong – 360° Programm

360Coffee, developed by Yayasan Ekosistem Lestari through PT Orang Utan Lestari, works with smallholder farmers in Sumatra to produce high-quality, traceable Arabica coffee while protecting ecosystems and supporting local livelihoods. The coffee is sourced from the Tapanuli Highlands near the Batang Toru forest, home to the critically endangered Tapanuli orangutan and essential for the region’s water, climate, and food security. All coffee is grown outside forest areas under a strict no-deforestation protocol. 360Coffee partners with over 100 farmers, providing training in sustainable agriculture, pest management, and quality control, with post-harvest processing ensuring specialty-grade consistency.

Its model focuses on three pillars: Production, Protection, and Inclusion, promoting productivity, forest and biodiversity conservation, and equitable economic benefits, including for women and youth. The supply chain is carbon-conscious and certified carbon neutral, with emissions reduced and offset through verified climate actions. Through traceable, ethical, and climate-responsible trade, 360Coffee supports both sustainable livelihoods and forest protection in Indonesia.
