Logistics

About

After the coffees arrive at the harbour, they are transported to the warehouse. At this point, IAC Logistics is responsible for storage and sampling order and instructions for the provision of data. In addition, KALA (KaffeeLagerei) handles customs clearance and processing of the goods to finalise the import process. The incoming goods inspection is carried out in the warehouse and the goods are stored. The SPOT notification is issued based on the storage notification.

As soon as the coffee has been put into storage, the customer order is sent from the trader to IAC-Logistics, which then arranges for the coffee to be released from the warehouse. Information is passed on to the warehouse and, if necessary, a forwarding agent is commissioned for onward transport.

When processing an export, KALA/AMS takes over the provision and customs clearance of the coffees from the order. IAC-Logistik organises the preparation of the necessary documents in close cooperation with KALA. Once customs clearance has been completed, the export certificates are issued and dispatch to the customer is arranged..
